Introduction:

Right, it takes the biscuit when you have to go through every single link in your post to find out if any of them have been removed. Even pasting them into a third party site takes a while, so heres a good and quick way to do it.

Prerequests:

1) Mozilla firefox (latest version preferred)
Check at http://www.firefox.com

2) Computer capable of running firefox & any modern operating system
Eg:
Linux http://distrowatch.com/
Microsoft Windows http://windows.com
Apple Macintosh http://apple.com
Freebsd http://freebsd.org
ReactOS http://reactos.org

3) Common sense, let's hope you atleast have this :)

Instructions:

Download and install firefox, then open it up and navigate to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748 and click "Add to firefox"

Once this is installed navigate to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/9467 and click the green "Install" button, similar to the add plugin button on the firefox site.

Were almost done now! This sript will check links from rapidshare.com, megaupload.com, megarotic.com, megaporn.com and filefactory.com

When a link of yours is still alive it will look like:



If the link has died :( :



It needs to be re-uploaded or deleted.

There might be a viable alternative for internet explorer, chrome, safari but i don't use these browsers :(

Spend less time checking and more time uploading :D
